It takes 1 to 4 months – depending on the size of the rug – to make each of these unique pieces. Kilim rugs are flat woven and are known for their colorful geometric patterns. They are made by several Berber tribes in different regions of Morocco. To take care of a Berber rug, it is advisable to dust the rug regularly and gently. Ideally, opt for a vacuum cleaner with a soft nozzle. In case of stains, quickly blot with absorbent paper, if necessary use baking soda, before finishing the treatment with a vacuuming session.
